About the book: 2011 / Filaret Ivanovich Chernov (1878–1940) is a talented self-taught poet who created his best works at the turn of the 10-20s. last century. He never managed to publish a book of poems, although they were published in many popular magazines of that time: “Bulletin of Europe”, “Russian Wealth”, “Niva”, “Ogonyok”, “Picturesque Review”, “New Satyricon”...After the revolution F Chernov occasionally published in Soviet periodicals and worked as a freelance literary consultant. He died in a psychiatric hospital. This collection is the first serious acquaintance of the modern reader with the philosophical and landscape lyrics of the poet. It contains publications in magazines and newspapers; poems from notebooks stored in the archives of the University of Bremen; memoirs of the poet's friend Yevgeny Kropivnitsky and other materials.
