In accordance with the orders of the US and EU governments, Moscow and Kyiv were obliged to conduct a large-scale military operation called “Fairway”. It was planned to take control of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant and quickly collect the rapidly dwindling reserves of artifacts. According to the plan for this operation, the first group of military personnel was to be sent for aerial reconnaissance of the territory in order to subsequently draw up detailed plans for the location of the anomalous fields. Then the main forces of the military should move along the marked safe passages through the blackened buildings and mutilated forest: army units, including special forces, led by detachments of military stalkers. This enterprise, in which more than a thousand people and a lot of equipment took part, was a complete failure. the owners demanded to account for the funds stolen and wasted on Fairvater and to repeat the operation at their own expense.
