About the book: 2006 / The presented work contains a translation of one of the most famous textbooks of Tibetan medicine, written by a modern Tibetan physician, professor of the Lhasa Medical Academy Samten. This book, which describes the etiology, symptoms and methods of treatment of the most common diseases today, is the main teaching aid in medical schools in modern Tibet. In the process of working on the Russian edition, the majority of Tibetan nosological forms were identified from the perspective of European medicine. The book is addressed to doctors and scientists studying Tibetan medicine.
