About the book: 1993 / "All philosophical, mathematical and logical studies presented in this volume were created in the 30s-40s, and none of them they did not know the printing press during the author’s lifetime. The work he did in the period of his life right up to the fatal “Dialectics of Myth” made it possible to confidently determine the “three pillars” that, according to Losev, carry the entire burden of the world order - Name, Myth, Number. The contents of the volume can be divided into two parts. The first is devoted to philosophical questions of mathematics and is represented by the book “Dialectical Foundations of Mathematics”, the second is devoted to philosophical questions of logic, and it is formed by the works “On the Method of Infinitesimals in Logic” and “Some Elementary Reflections on the Logical Foundations of Infinitesimal Calculus”. The volume ends with a short fragment “Mathematics and Dialectics”. The works of the second part, certainly of independent interest, at the same time in a certain way make up for the loss of those sections of the “Dialectical Foundations of Mathematics”, where the substantive side of differential and integral calculus was to be treated."
