MediaDB / «Anarchomics" Copenhagen Institute for Future Studies: download fb2, read online
About the book: 2011 / "Anarchonomics" is an extremely symptomatic text. Its authors are members of the Copenhagen Institute for Futures Studies, the largest think tank in Scandinavia, which was founded by Torkil Christensen, a member of the Club of Rome, former Minister of Finance of Denmark and Secretary General of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development, a club of the most developed market economies on the planet. “Anarchonomics”. "is not a techno-utopian manifesto or a socially critical pamphlet. Rather, it is an attempt to prepare active agents of a market economy for an inevitable meeting with the specter of cybercommunism, carried out in the well-known paranoid-optimistic style of business manuals. This text can be considered as educational, designed to open up the philosophy of online communities to moneymakers. Or as a guerrilla operation of copylefters to find potential allies in the enemy camp. Or as a slightly hysterical attempt by business analysts to find ways to stay within the liberal economic model without resorting to completely illiberal political measures such as limiting freedom of information and expanding the repressive state apparatus. In any case, Anarchonomics is a shining symbol of the era, excellent proof that no one can afford the luxury of ignoring cyberspace anymore. As the authors of the report rightly say, “in the future, anarchomy will go beyond the Internet and radically change the economy of the physical world. Everything that can be digitized will be digitized, and the price of digital goods tends to zero. How can an economy exist in such conditions?” The translation is published based on two reports by the Instituttet for Fremtidsforskning (Copenhagen Institute for Futures Studies) - “Anarconomy” (#3/2009) and “Out of Control” (#1/2010) under license Creative Commons.
