About the book: 2013 / The book is dedicated to the events of the dramatic period of Russian history of the early 17th century, known as the Time of Troubles, or Time of Troubles (1604-1612) . During the Time of Troubles, civil war and foreign intervention affected most regions of the Russian state, but the main center of confrontation was the capital of Russia, Moscow. It is no coincidence that contemporaries of these events called them “Moscow ruin.” This book tells about the diverse tragic and heroic events of the Time of Troubles in Moscow, the exploits and sufferings of Muscovites, the struggle for the liberation of the city from the Polish-Lithuanian invaders and the subsequent revival of the country and its capital. The publication is intended for a wide range of readers, everyone interested in the history of the Fatherland, and primarily for students and schoolchildren.
