About the book: year / Which of us, as a boy, did not dream of waking up one morning and discovering incredible superhuman abilities in ourselves? Heroes of films, cartoons and comics, one way or another, accompany us throughout the entire period of our formation as individuals. They, by and large, shape our attitude towards good and evil, black and white, equality, justice and other immutable things. Any child who miraculously received superpower at a young age would not hesitate for a second to use it to make the world a better place. By saving people and doing good deeds, children would bring goodness and light with them, believing in unclouded justice and the correctness of their own convictions. But, in the case of an already formed mind, forced to live twenty to thirty years, relying only on its own strength, things are completely different. Such people no longer make supermen, spider-men and other, God forgive me, Batman. If the superpower nevertheless makes a mistake, rushing past the child, and falls on such a person, it will be almost impossible to predict the consequences. Adults have their own ideals, their own faith and their own understanding of how justice should be done. They often become characters in gangster films, but not superheroes. And if something happens that can change their views on the reality of the world around them and on the use of their own capabilities, then it is unlikely to be a positive thing. This book is just about such a guy. About a man who miraculously acquired unique capabilities too late to do unconditional good while fighting absolute evil. However, he had his own view of these essentially inseparable concepts.
