About the book: 2011 / The study examines the complex of Anglo-Scottish relations in the first half of the 15th century, established both on the high politics of London and Edinburgh, and on regional trends shaped by the lords of the Anglo-Scottish borderlands and the nobility of the Scottish Lowlands and Highlands. A special place in the work is given to Scotland's participation in the Anglo-French confrontation within the Hundred Years' War and the formation of the Scottish political model under Kings James I and James II. The course and motives of the events described were reconstructed based on a wide range of published narrative and documentary sources from Scotland, England and France.
