About the book: year / Book “Resistance to Bolshevism. 1917-1918." is the fourth volume in a series dedicated to the White movement in Russia, and introduces the reader to the memories of participants in the events and battles in Petrograd, Moscow, Orenburg, Yaroslavl, Crimea, the North Caucasus, the Urals, and Central Asia. The book is the first time such completeness presents evidence of only the leaders of the anti-communist struggle, but also its ordinary participants, allowing one to clearly imagine the situation and atmosphere of that time, the psychology and spiritual appearance of the first volunteers. With a few exceptions, the materials contained in the volume have never been published in Russia, and those published abroad are a bibliographic rarity. The volume is equipped with a preface and extensive comments containing several hundred biographical information published for the first time about the authors and heroes of the essays.
